Very strong winds early this morning, blowing the rain almost horizontally under the overhang of the roof and on to the windows. Lovely sight though!
Quite a few leaves blown into the garden of course, some already an autumnal yellow but a lot of them still green.
And lots and lots of acorns were blown from the oak tree, making a carpet around the hazelnut bush.
