At end of season, the leaves of the hydrangeas by the garden steps are turning magenta/mauve and match the flowers which have all faced downwards. The combination is most attractive.
In the kitchen a little magenta pink flower is sitting bright in a shot glass. It had a broken stem on the plant but came back to life after all.
