It breaks my heart but I've had to let you go. Too many things getting worn out and being hit by a lorry last month didn't help. Not just my pride and joy but an extension of myself when behind the wheel. I hope your parts will keep your siblings going...
Our Hydrangeas have started flowering. Starting out in a fresh blueish purple that turns pink over time.
With lots of little buds still to open, these flowers will keep going all summer.
In another case of natural symmetry, our Japanese medlar has decided to grow two new shoots near the base of its trunk. I bought it at Aywiers over a year ago and it had been slowly developing at the top. A larger pot gave fresh energy and more leaves at the top, and now this amusing development.

After last week's heat it's very refreshing to have a nice breeze while sitting on our balcony.
