Destination of our trip was the water gardens of Annevoie, a lovely park with water running downhill through a number of streams and spraying up from the many fountains all through the park (there's five fountains alone in the photo above).
The gardens had been established by a family grown wealthy from their iron foundries, with their chateau on one side next to the largest of a number of ponds.
Dotted through the grounds were large metal sculptures of mushrooms and fruit. Placing an apple next to the church adjoining the park must've been too tempting.
And here's the missus being curious as always!
