Last night our eldest presented us with souvenirs he brought back: a fridge magnet, a packet of sleep-promoting Koala Tea for his mum and a nanoblock kit of a Melbourne tram for me. Which I built this morning.
I'd heard of nanoblocks before but never really seen them up close. They're small (see real Lego brick in red for comparison) and pretty fiddly to build. But despite a few mishaps and mistakes I managed to build the tram (with tram stop) which presents well. Below it's compared to a Lego London Bus.
Our eldest went home with some souvenirs from last week's repair café: four plants I got from the plant hospital lady in return for a donation for the good cause we were supporting. Some waste cardboard keeps the pots from rattling in transit.
