Our eldest showed us the wonderful photos he took while Down Under. Making the most of his time there and cramming in everything he could both in Sydney (where he landed) and Melbourne. His friends, the bride and groom to be, live there in the suburbs (apparently an hour and a half's drive from the city centre) and also took him and a Swiss guest to see some local sights. Our eldest brought them luck in a wood reserve - they'd never seen a (rarely appearing) lyre bird for real but our eldest spotted one in the growth. And then two more somewhat later. And by the time they'd come back to the car they'd seen eleven altogether!
