Today was even hotter than yesterday. So we do the meditarranean thing: open all windows on the shadow side in the morning, and close windows and blinds when the outside temperature gets close to the temperature inside. While working from home today I observed the heat through the blinds in the kitchen. And spotted a magpie hidden behind some plants nipping out to have a drink from the basin.
Towards dinner time a refreshing breeze arrived, so windows were opened to have it pass through the house. It did blow a lot of stringy flowers out of the chestnut trees though, looking like scribble camouflage on the grass.
