Field Repair

 

I had just gathered my courage to go mow the front lawn, to discover the mower's starter was stuck.

The starter line was the culprit, worn through to such a degree that the outer layer bunched up and jammed up the works.

The spring that pulls back the starter line also broke loose. A number of times before I had the new line in place and got it wound round the hub in the right length by trial and error.

It took awhile but the mower's back in business. Only had time left for part of the lawn so the rest will have to wait for next Saturday.
