Blessings of the Internet

My late Mum had some fabulous kitchen knives which are now more or less on their last legs (the one at left). But by sheer chance I noticed they have the name of a hardware store in The Hague etched into the blade, and what turned out to be the maker's name. The maker, Güde (alt Guede) in Solingen no longer sells this exact type, but a seller on eBay Germany still had some! So now we have two more (at right) that should also last a good number of decades.
